PDF to JPG for Upload

Many candidates receive their marksheets, certificates, and scanned photos as PDF files - but exam portals and visa applications demand individual JPG images. Copying or screenshotting a PDF produces blurry, incorrectly sized images that get rejected. This tool renders each PDF page at full resolution and exports it as a clean, high-quality JPEG file optimized for portal uploads. No server upload, no watermarks, no registration.

How it works

1

Upload your PDF file

Select the PDF containing your marksheet, certificate, scanned photo, or any document. Multi-page PDFs are fully supported - each page is processed separately.

2

Pages rendered at high resolution

The tool uses Mozilla's PDF.js library to render each PDF page at 300 DPI equivalent resolution on an HTML5 canvas. This produces sharp, clean output - far superior to screenshotting or using Print Screen.

3

Download individual JPG files

Each page is exported as a separate JPEG file. Select the page(s) you need and download. If the portal requires a specific file size (e.g., under 200KB), use the Exact KB Compressor on the extracted image.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just screenshot my PDF?

Screenshots capture your screen resolution (typically 72-96 DPI), producing blurry images that fail portal dimension and quality checks. This tool renders the PDF at 300 DPI - the same quality as a professional scanner - giving you a crisp JPEG that passes validation.

Can I extract just one page from a multi-page PDF?

Yes. The tool renders all pages individually. You can download only the specific page you need - for example, just page 2 of a 10-page marksheet PDF.

My marksheet PDF is password-protected. Will this work?

If the PDF has a view password, you will need to enter it before conversion. If the PDF only has a print/copy restriction (common with Aadhaar and DigiLocker PDFs), the tool can usually render it without any password. For Aadhaar PDFs specifically, try our Aadhaar PDF Password Remover first.

What if the extracted JPG is too large for my portal?

After extracting the JPG, use the Exact KB Compressor to reduce it to your portal's specific limit (20KB, 50KB, 100KB, or 200KB). The two tools work perfectly together - extract first, then compress.

Is my PDF uploaded to any server?

No. The entire conversion happens in your browser using JavaScript (PDF.js and Canvas API). Your documents never leave your device. This is critical for sensitive files like marksheets, Aadhaar, and financial certificates.
